How much do you tip the super when you move into a Manhattan apartment?

I’m moving into a Manhattan apartment (not a doorman building), and was told that I need to tip the super when I move in. There will be 4-5 smallish renovations that will be made before I move in. But do I need to tip him now, or should I hold off until Christmas? Or is this all about setting up goodwill?

Ok, so my room is colored neon purple, neon green, and neon blue. I really want to dress it up for Christmas. I know it’s a little early, but I’m just so dang excited!! So please help! And p.s…..I have very little $, so try to make it fit the budget!! Lol! Thanks and happy holidays!!

Where can I find modern christmas songs?

Either remixed versions of classics or new ones. I know many artists make christmas songs but I don’t know how to find the good ones. I went to Polo, Calvin Klein, and Nautica outlet stores today and while I was in the dressing room I noticed the music was awesome. They had remixed old classics by new artists playing. I just want to find some songs like that. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

How would you decorate a room in a solar system theme? Add chrome, glass, mirrors for punch with solar system?

My 10-year old granddaughter just asked me to come up with ideas to decorate her room with a solar system, outer space or astronaut theme. I was thinking silver like the space suits for the bedspread and maybe curtains. Would like to come up with a light fixture I could make and could use the rope lights around the bed. I don’t want the room to look too child like. Thought if I used lots of glass, chrome and mirrors that may help. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
No offense taken and it is a little nerdy and geeky. She is 10 what she wants for Christmas is for me to fly up to her house. I can’t do that but said maybe in January. She then started talking about us redoing her room. She is only 10 for one year. I am trying to come up with ideas to do the room with what she asked for yet give it some girl glam at the same time. She had said about the stars on the ceiling and I think that is a good idea because they can be taken down very easy. I am looking at buying so space posters and framing them. She wants to paint with me and for us to make some different projects.

tips for the leather interior in my new car?

ok…so i’m getting a new car for christmas. Its going to have tan leather interior and I want to know what is best to keep it from cracking. I’ve already looked on here at other questions like this but I’m not sure if you do the same for it if you do not have any shade to park it under. We don’t have a garage so the car will be parked in the sun all the time. What are some good tips to keep the leather in good condition?
