Can I Move my Comcast Phone/internet to another room myself, or do I need to get a professional?

We are having a baby and the computer room is going to become the nursery. I need to move the computer to the dining room. We have Comcast internet and phone. I really need to know if we can DIY this or if I have to call Comcast to do it for me. We will definatly need to extend the phone line and cable lines.

help on baby proofing our home?

Our son is 9 months old, very active. crawls every where, pulls up on EVERYTHING, holds on to the walls and walks around the house. in the living room we have a space heater, the living and dining room is like one big room with two steps going down from the living room to the dining room, our tv stand is a foot away from the heater and he always crawls thru the little space(which has cable cords and other cords)and he gets tangled in them, . i need some ideas on how to block it off where he cant get thru there, and winter is coming so the heater will be on, what can i put around it that is safe but so he cant touch it?

How do I decorate my main floor powder room so it is not boring?

I just moved into a townhome and I have a very small powder room on the main floor. White walls, ceiling, white woodwork, white toilet, white pedestal sink, and a large oval mirror framed in silver over the sink. There is no window so I don’t want it to be super dark. The floor is pretty–large squares of porcelain tile in deep green & black–sort of swirled like slate. What can I do to make this room pop? I am willing to paint–can’t change the sink or mirror. Any ideas for a picture or wall hanging? My style is tradtional and the living room/dining room are pale gray with a large floral area rug with a navy background. Any help would be appreciated–everyone has such good ideas.

I am looking to buy a nice chandelier for my dining room and am curious what metal color is the best choice?

The crystal chandeliers come in accents of gold plate, bronze, black iron, silver plate, and a creme painted metal. Which one will stand the test of time, trend wise?

I want to paint one wall of my living room lime green?

Hello there:

I just moved to a an apartment and it is completely white, so I’d like to some accent colors. I was thinking about a lime green (maybe a little bit darker) and an orange to the wall of the dining room. My worries are that my sofas are a very light green (almost turning to blue) and my dining furniture is a comtemporary style black and silver. Do you think the colors that i have in mind will match with my furniture????? Pls help me….The christmas party is gonna be here, in my apartment!!!!

Moving into a junior one bedroom 502 sf. What can I do to make my space comfy and so each room has its own spa

I want to make the living room (12.8×13.11 ft) the place for my full bed and tv, but at the same time put a little couch and area for guests. the dining room (7.7×8.11) is connect to the living room. The bedroom ( 8.9×9.6) will be a pace for my meditation and also an area for my computer but I want the two to be seperate. I also want the dining room to have something to divide it from the living room. Any ideas on how to make my place look modern, yet organized, homey, and shiek? I’m on a low budget but just not great with ideas. Thanks.
