Me and my best friend are moving out together?

Me and my best friend want to move out together. I’m doing this mainly for her. She is my best friend and I love her to death. She grew up without much and she is a foster kid. The agency told her that she has to be out of the foster home the monday after she graduates. Which ***** for her because that doesnt give her much time to find a place. Today we went looking at some places. She now has her heart set on the last one that we looked at. They are nice apts but the 2nd room is tiny. We both want the bigger room, naturally. I feel that i should get it because I am bringing in more money and the way it looks, I will have to move in before she graduates to hold the place. She threw in my face that she is bringing in the kitchen table and the furniture. Oh and she has a bigger bed set then I do. The way it looks, this is going to ruine our friendship. I dont want that to happen. I’m about ready to tell her that she can move in with someone else. What should i do?

How much do you tip the super when you move into a Manhattan apartment?

I’m moving into a Manhattan apartment (not a doorman building), and was told that I need to tip the super when I move in. There will be 4-5 smallish renovations that will be made before I move in. But do I need to tip him now, or should I hold off until Christmas? Or is this all about setting up goodwill?

I’m moving soon - and my new bedroom needs painting. I’ve always wanted a black and white bedroom. You know… one wall white the next black e.t.c… kinda a zebra look. But would that be too wacky? Or could I pull it off? Please give me your opinions!
