REMODELING MY ROOM!(color suggestions?)?

ohkay, the color of my room right now is teal, with baby blue in the sides, im changing the color this week because everybody says my room looks to dark.

my room is small, so i want a suggestion and color that will help my room look bigger,is it true that painting one wall a certain color and the other one another color will help? my room is humid, so if that helps/?!?!?

now a little bit about me: Im 15, favorite colors are

blue agua and silver
or
hot pink with black.

so any suggestions for the above?what color should i choose??

Baby room colors?

The room theme will be Butterfly Garden for our little girl.

I’ve picked the color pallets but the painting of the room online didn’t let me do it how it is supposed to be. So the light green color will be on the bottom half of the wall, and the top half will be the pink, ceiling will be yellow. A matching butterfly garden border will be dividing the green and the pink.

Any thoughts, opinions, suggestions?
By the way, nursery will be white and the bedding, rugs, lamp, curtains will all be butterfly garden theme.

Painting room blue and black?

I was thinking of painting the top part of my bedroom walls room a light blue with white chair railing and painting the bottom part of my walls black(less than half of my walls). Opinions? I’ve seen it done before and I loved it but I just wanted to see if other people thought it would be a good idea. Or should I do a light blue with a darker shade of blue on the bottom?

i just got out of a really bad break up and i got this wild hair that since my room is completely empty besides a futon bed(all my dressers were my ex’s when he lived here) that i could paint my room some crazy wild color( other than yellow ,pink ,or blue cause its yellow now and i **** pink and blue)

so what wild color should i paint my room to help completly change it around?

Okay soo I need my room to be blue and green. I have light green carpet. But I am 14 so it cant be like light green and light blue cause that would look like an old lady room. I have wood going halfway down the walls. I can paint the wood. What could I paint my walls and make it look sweet??

A question about painting my bedroom?

I am moving into a new apartment and am going to paint the walls. For my bedroom, I have a queen sized bed that is impossible for me to move once the movers take it in but I don’t have any time to paint before hand. Do you think it will move if I put those sliders under the bed or do those only work for smaller furniture like tables? Any suggestions?

Room decorating help? Wall colour?

I’m thinking of painting my room, What do you think I could do?

A few ideas-

-All walls painted with blackboard paint for a huge blackboard
-All different colors painted in stripes(across or down?)
-Paint white and splatter different pain (love this!)
Alot of people love the splatter idea! What do you think of matching the furniture with the different colours I used!

I’m painting my room but i have green dressers.guh any suggestions?

They’re a dark forest greenish colour, and I really cant match it to anything except grey or maybe brown. So if you have any ideas or pictures of rooms that could incorporate green dressers that would be fantastic.
I don’t think painting the dressers is an option. right now my room is a yellow-tan colour but I’d like a change. I like purple but i can’t help thinking of barney sigh. and red is too christmasy. Would a blue grey be suitable do you think?
